The desire to do more in our hometown has brought us to the beginning of a wonderful story!

Welcome to Tavern Kopacina (locally known as Konoba Kopačina), the best place on Brač to enjoy authentic Dalmatian cuisine. Located in Donji Humac, Tavern Kopačina has been serving traditional Croatian food since 2000, specializing in lamb specialties, fresh farm-to-table ingredients, and homemade olive oil. Family farm

Near the tavern, our family farm gives us fruit and vegetables we use in our kitchen every day.

Olive oil is made from olives from a family farm, and we like to point out that the essence of some of our dishes is made up of products from our hands. Dried figs, the spectacular “Brač’s Varenik”, the inevitable “homemade sheik” and our cherries are a treasure for our chefs.

Depending on the season, various fruit and vegetable cultures can be found in the field.

Amazing, coming back soon! Great experience from arrival, nothing too much trouble. Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Great choice for vegetarians. Top quality sheep cheese. The house wine is also great especially for gemist!

Very nice, very traditional restaurant, one of the few open during the whole year, located in the middle of the island and offering a variety of meat and fish dishes - they have a nice area for grill and a great grill chef so that's what you should aim for - be it lamb or Adriatic squid. The waiters are nice, the wine quite bad, the prices a bit upbeat.

We had dinner twice in this great restaurant. First meal was without a reservation and we were lucky there was a place. Nice sunset view and super food. Second evening we had a traditional Lamp Peka which was absolutely stunning. So my advice is to go there (with a reservation) and enjoy one of their great dishes. I can recommend the Lamp Peka.

WOW... we were given a primo table --and out server--I wish I had gotten his name-- was amazing. He was professional, funny, helpful--he made several recommendations for me--I am truly a picky eater. I had the filet mignon, my partner had the lamb--both were delicious, perfectly cooked.

This place is a must!! up in the hills .. authentic food which is beautiful and fantastic staff!! i had the medallion of veal with mushroom sauce my partner had the lambs liver which he said was the best he's ever tasted!!
